Thirsty Thursday - Tyler Stenson

Born in Lander, WY, but raised in Oregon, Tyler Stenson is a bold, lyric-first Portland singer-songwriter who draws profound influence from his roots in the humble West. His unique brand of elegant folk music is the fitting result of his upbrining - wildly creative but wrangled by his meticulous attention to detail and desire to design things differently.

Drawing comparison to singer-songwriter greats such as James Taylor, Cat Stevens and Ryan Adams, Tyler has been locally recognized as the Portland Singer-Songwriter of the Year by the Portland Songwriters Association and Best Male Artist at the Portland Music Awards. On the national stage, he was hand-picked by legendary producer Don Was as a Top 10 Finalist in Guitar Center's Great American Singer-Songwriter Search. Stenson's music can be heard on several Chevrolet commercials, popular television series, and opening for other pominent artist such as LeAnn Rimes, George Ezra, Chris Isaak, John Popper and Marc Cohn.

The tasting room is open from 3-8 pm with music from 6-8 pm. Award-winning, student-made wine along with beer, cider, non-alcoholic drinks and charcuterie platters are available in the tasting room or feel free to bring your own picnic. Indoors seating is limited and will be on a first come, first served basis. For groups of 8 or more, please contact Chemeketa Cellars for reserved seating. This event is free and open to all ages.
