Nouveau Release Party ($) - Thursday, November 21, 2024, 6-8 pm
Join Chemeketa Cellars and other local wineries (plus a bonus authentic French Nouveau!) pouring Nouveau and Gamay Noir varietals in celebration of this famous French holiday. Beaujolais Nouveau is a red wine made from Gamay in the Beaujolais region of France to celebrate the end of harvest. Nouveau is traditionally released on the third Thursday of November every year at festive release parties and is meant to be consumed immediately after bottling. Entry includes tastings of Nouveau from local wineries and our student-made Nouveau along food pairings and live music. Wineries will be selling bottles to go and the Chemeketa Cellars tasting room have wine for sale by the glass and bottle. Mingle with Wine Studies students and local wineries pouring Nouveau and Gamay Noir wines, learn about the Nouveau tradition, and enjoy a relaxing evening of lively jazz, lovely Nouveau, and luscious light bites.

Annual Barrel Tasting ($) - Wednesday, May 7, 2025, 6-8 pm
Join the Wine Studies program for a public celebration of the achievements of the program and our talented alumni. You'll have the opportunity to experience barrel tastings hosted by Wine Studies students in the winery along with alumni wineries pouring tastes and selling bottles, live music and a fabulous food spread. The Horticulture program will host a plant sale, where you can stock up on beautiful annuals and perennials grown by Horticulture students at Chemeketa’s Salem campus.

In 2025, we will be celebrating our 25th year in a special way...more details to come!
