Thirsty Thursday - Charles Swanger

Performances will take place inside the tasting room during winter weather months and then out on the patio as soon as the weather allows. The tasting room is open from 4-9 pm with music from 6-8 pm. Seating both indoors and on the patio will be on a first-come, first-served basis (feel free to bring your own chairs.) For groups of 6 or more, please contact Chemeketa Cellars for reserved seating. Award-winning, student-made wine along with beer, cider and charcuterie platters are available in the tasting room, or bring your own picnic.

Enjoy wine and live music with Rich Swanger at Chemeketa Cellars! Rich Swanger is an Oregon based singer-songwriter with roots in folk and country-blues music. Born amongst the Appalachian hills of Pennsylvania, he was surrounded by song from the very beginning. He discovered harmony in the church choir and found an affinity for twang listening to his father strum country classics around the house. Swanger has recorded 4 full length albums, his music has been featured on the Showtime show 'Shameless', and his song 'Didn't Make a Sound' recently won Portland's Folk Festival songwriting contest.
